About: Born and raised in Newcastle. Adam grew up in Redhead so naturally he has a love of the ocean and being outdoors. He went to Redhead Primary School and Whitebridge High School. Spending time with family and friends is important to him.

Work: Adam took a gap year after school, then his passion for helping people lead him to Newcastle TAFE where he studied Diploma of Remedial Massage. Since then he has studied numerous different courses including Dry Needling and another Diploma in Myofascial Release. He has studied Yoga in Australia as well as abroad in India. Currently he has just begun his University degree at Newcastle studying Bachelor of Arts / Science with aims to get into Physiotherapy next year.

Play: Adam grew up surfing and that, to this day, still plays a large part in his life. He has sung since a young age too, he sings in a local Newcastle Groove / Psychedelic Rock band called Red City. Yoga, Mvmnt and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu also happily take up a lot of his time, he is constantly learning and is a self-confessed massive nerd.

  Tom Russell has been a go to physio both personally and for our patients for a decade. We love his open and honest advice and his expertise in managing injuries and recovery. The whole team is so friendly and our patients always have great feedback after visiting them.

  After suffering from back pain and muscle stiffness for a while due to a work related injury.
I went in to see the guys at Next Gen and was referred to Adam for a remedial massage. After my first massage I immediately rebooked with him again, his knowledge about particular muscles and post massage exercises is great, and also how in-depth he goes with his massage definitely made me want to return again. I can’t recommend Next Gen Physio enough.
