Next-Gen Physio – A Fresh Approach to Physio in Newcastle.

What are your opening hours?

We are open 7am – 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8am – 3pm Saturday.

Where are you located?

We are located on Park Avenue, Kotara next to the McDonalds and across the road from the Westfield Shopping Centre.

Is there parking available?

We have three allocated car spaces for our patients to use. These are the three car parks closest to our building along the hedge.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Should you cancel or not attend a scheduled appointment without providing 12 hours notice, the full fee of the consult will be charged to your account. Not attending an appointment without contacting the clinic as to why, is an inconvenience to the clinic and our other patients.

Do you have a waitlist?

Yes we do! If you aren’t able to find a time that works for you, please call the clinic on 02 4965 5712 and we can add your name to our waitlist. We will send a text message to all patients on the waitlist with a first in first served system.

Do I need a referral to see you?

You don’t need a referral to book an appointment at Next-Gen. However if you have had any scans that are applicable to your appointment, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can have these on file.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

If this is your first appointment we recommend you arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the required Patient Registration Form.

Do you have HICAPS claiming available?

We have a HICAPS machine in the clinic for on the spot claiming. This means that you swipe your health fund card and only have to pay the gap on the day.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wearing loose fitting clothing is best.

How long will my appointment be?

Your first appointment will be 60 minutes, and all follow up appointments will be 30 minutes. If you are a previous patient that is returning with a new injury we also recommend a 60 minute appointment.

Do we have a bathroom?

We do have a bathroom available in the clinic for patients to use.

  Tom Russell has been a go to physio both personally and for our patients for a decade. We love his open and honest advice and his expertise in managing injuries and recovery. The whole team is so friendly and our patients always have great feedback after visiting them.

  After suffering from back pain and muscle stiffness for a while due to a work related injury.
I went in to see the guys at Next Gen and was referred to Adam for a remedial massage. After my first massage I immediately rebooked with him again, his knowledge about particular muscles and post massage exercises is great, and also how in-depth he goes with his massage definitely made me want to return again. I can’t recommend Next Gen Physio enough.
